However, it may seem that Maaristaan merely represents dressing scarves as a specific fashion style, it focuses visual attention at the soul and inner beauty of women. Irrespective of the load of current highly politicized and sharply perceived social agendas associated with provocation of both wearing (in the West) and not wearing scarves (Islamic East) Maaristaan draws attention to “hidden” advantages of veiling when considering alienation and dehumanizing trend of uncovering a woman’s body and putting a woman on pedestal as a bare object and a mean of mindless consumption and consumerism.
